Edge Training Consultancy will answer training and development needs by offering world class training programmes. The aim of Edge Training is to effect meaningful change in individuals and organisations by inspiring, motivating, developing and empowering them to change not only their knowledge base and skills set, but also to positively alter their attitudes and behaviour. This is achieved in a highly practical, creative and sustainable manner.

Edge Training was founded in 2000 from a vision birthed by Dave Blakemore while he was employed as a Senior Trainer at one of South Africa?s leading financial institutions. From the very beginning a choice was made to specialise in Human Development Training. As a result of this focused approach Edge Training now sets the standard in Employee, Supervisory and Middle Management Development Training.

2. Present Market
How is income derived?
Income is derived from offering the following courses on Employee, Supervisory and Middle Management Development Training. They also offer specialised Leadership Development Program to School Learners of all ages.
What advertising and marketing is undertaken on a group basis and what is the individual franchisee expected to do?
Head Office operates a very busy and informative website and also does Social Media advertising keeping the public updated on new developments etc. Each Franchisee will also be responsible to advertise and market within their own region and to call on local businesses and schools.
11. Franchise Agreement Terms and Financials
How are Projected turnovers and profits calculated?
A detailed breakdown of projections are avaliable. The income statement has included the owners salary after deductions.
What is the Franchise joining Fee?
R60 000 excluding vat.
What is the monthly royalty, management and marketing fees? Are these fees based on turnover or a flat rate?
Royalties accrue on any corporate Teambuilding training undertaken. The royalty fee is 10% of total invoice amount. No royalties accrue on any schools training. All training manuals, materials, and the study skills book must be purchased from the Franchisor.

Is stock supplied with the initial franchise setup (if applicable?)
Yes the initial stock will be included in the purchase price to the value of R2 000. Stock consists of course material relative to corporate training etc.
Will stock purchases be solely from franchisor in the future or can the franchisee pruchase from other suppliers?
Stock is to be purchased solely from the Franchisor.

Initially can be owner operated.

Training is included in the purchase price. initial training will take place for 1.5 days and will be done in 2 three quarter sessions.
What support and backup is offerred to the franchisee?
Backup and support is on offer at all times, as and when needed.
Does the franchise have to be owner operated?
Yes, this franchise will have to be owner operated in order to achieve optimum results.
