Fully describe the business's activities?
The business is a specialized retail and kilt hire shop, which opened originally in 1980. The business is the leading supplier of regalia and accessories in Southern Africa – and supplies (Scottish) highland dancing pumps (shoes) and accessories, as well as pipe band instruments and accessories; giftware, novelties, tartan and tweed fabrics, Celtic and clan crest jewelry, hats, ties, scarves and any other items required. All stock is import from Scotland and there is a local SA based kilt maker who makes up kilts for our customers. Kilt Hire forms a large part of the business and the demand for Scottish outfits for weddings, dinner parties and all manner of special occasions continues to grow, both in and out of the Scottish community. You don’t have to be Scottish to wear a kilt. This is a destination store which has a spacious shop, with additional storage / sewing / ironing rooms attached.
