John has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (majoring in Accounting and Economics) from the University of Natal and certificates from the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business in Advanced Financial Management and Manufacturing and Operations Management.
John was Managing Director of one of the largest clothing manufacturing businesses in South Africa for 16 years before taking early retirement and joining Aldes Business Brokers in 2010.
