I have been in the corporate environment for about 20 years of my professional life. I finished my B. Com degree and joined a major bank in the sales division. I have been in the business banking arena for almost 90% of my corporate career. I have vast experience in the credit and risk elements of the business banking environment, business rescues, restructuring and putting together plans and financial solutions for businesses. I completed a MBA and CFP part time and did a number of projects in the bank. I was part and parcel of the start-up of a small business division in the bank and worked on projects in Europe and Nairobi. The last 4 years of my banking career I headed up a region of financial advisors both in the commercial and personal environment focusing heavily on sales. I then joined a large agricultural company heading up the livestock division as General Manager. I resigned in 2014 to pursue a career in the small business arena as an entrepreneur. I opened a number of small businesses personally during my lifetime in the financial planning, property, transport and agricultural sectors and currently again have businesses in the insurance and transport industries, consisting of 3 branches. I therefore fully understand the doom and gloom of the small business entrepreneur and am able to help with workable business solutions. more
