Born in East London in 1950, Geoff completed his schooling in Port Elizabeth at Grey Junior and High Schools, after which he studied through the Dept of Technical Services in Pretoria. He worked as a technologist/chemist in various positions in the veterinary research field. He then made a complete career change by getting involved in the planning of missile systems within one of the Armscor subsidiaries. Geoff later joined Richards Bay Minerals to become involved in the South African foundry industry, and ended up owning his own non-ferrous foundry. Over the following 26 years Geoff’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished, with him acquiring, growing and then selling 8 different businesses. His experience has taken him into foundries, lighting manufacture, tool & fastener wholesaling, the petrol industry, the international accommodation industry, manufacture in solid surfacing, electrical wholesaling and motor spares retailing.. Geoff has a fascination with the working model of successful businesses, and it will be his pleasure to get to know clients and their businesses and to match suitable buyers to them.
